How do I grant a wish? You can search the wishes in three ways. 1) You can search by category, such as Action Figures, Bikes, or Books. 2) You can search by a child's name. 3) You can search by price. Once you find the perfect wish, simply select it and it will appear in your shopping cart.
Can I grant a wish as a gift to someone? Yes. We will send you a card in the mail that you can present as a gift to friends, family or co-workers. If you grant more than one wish, you will receive a card for each wish granted.
What happens when a wish is granted? Once a child's wish is granted, the wish is removed from the website. Your donation purchases the child's wish, which is fulfilled by our staff, and is delivered directly to the child. You will receive a confirmation in the mail letting you know that the wish was fulfilled.
Is my donation tax-deductible? Yes, when you grant a wish, your donation is tax deductible. You will be emailed a receipt that itemizes your donation. Your donation is made with the understanding that the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition is ultimately responsible for determining the use of the donated funds. We recommend that you consult your tax advisor if you have additional questions.
